About The Position
Premier New York winery seeking Sales Specialist to sell wine and cider in Massachusetts/RI territories.
Wölffer Estate Vineyard seeks an enthusiastic and experienced person to grow sales and recognition of the Wölffer Estate brand in New England. This full-time position reports to our National Sales Director.
Key responsibilities include: 
  • Sell Wölffer wine and cider to retailers, bars, restaurants, wine shops
  • Generate meaningful relationships with buyers
  • Develop and manage relationships within the distributor sales organization
  • Set up and execute tastings at wine shops, grocery stores, and events
  • Set up and execute events at customer locations
  • Analyze sales data to determine opportunities and challenges
  • Work closely with marketing to create and develop, and execute brand goals
The ideal candidate:
  • Has experience working with beer wholesalers and wine wholesalers
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Leadership and team skills can carry a room and inspire action
  • Has a balanced analytical mind, with ability to trust their gut but adjust based on data
  • Represents authenticity and truth to the Wölffer brand
  • Is comfortable multitasking 
  • Employs proactive selling techniques and prioritizes account visits and face time
  • Uses technology and data as valuable tools 
  • Thinks creatively about the brand and draws inspiration from across industries
  • Has a track record of building and executing sales strategies based on KPIs
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Happily carries cases of cider and wine!
Other requirements: 
  • 3 years’ experience selling in Beer, Wine, or Spirits
  • Based in Boston Area, Massachusetts
