What you'll do

* This role will be responsible for identifying and leading programs and initiatives targeting the Interaction of our stores and our E-commerce business. Leads the planning, execution, and development of financial plans and open-to-buy (OTB) forecasts for multiple strategic business units by adjusting financial projections against actual results; preparing, revising, and executing budgets (for example, sales, markdowns, receipts) for multiple strategic business units, seasonal buy plans, and line review financials; ensuring financial plans and forecasts across multiple strategic business units achieve broader company goals; conducting analyses to identify business metrics; balancing financial metrics across multiple strategic business units to meet overall budget commitments; developing partnerships with store senior management to drive multi-channel decisions; and developing and presenting financial recommendations to senior leadership. Directs item-level replenishment strategies across multiple strategic business units by reviewing metrics dashboard to ensure inventory in-stock and turn goals are achieved; developing methods (including calibration of parameters within the ordering system) to deliver inventory goals for online channel; ensuring item-level purchase quantities align with open-to-buy (OTB) forecasts; balancing financial trade-offs between in-stock rates and inventory turn across multiple strategic business units; influencing and recommending supply chain strategies to ensure needs of multiple strategic business units are met; partnering with Store Planning and Replenishment to optimize multi-channel inventory strategies and set best practices for order placement; and identifying long-term solutions to ensure systems continuity. Develops and implements financial and multi-channel integration strategies for multiple strategic business units by developing recommendations in alignment with enterprise financial objectives; ensuring recommendations provided by others support financial goals; analyzing and reconciling seasonal inventory flow plans across multiple strategic business units to ensure customer demand and return on investment goals are met; participating in and managing cross-functional projects to meet strategic financial plans; modeling, analyzing, and evaluating impact of key variables on multiple strategic business units performance and risk exposure; delivering key performance metrics (for example, in-stock, inventory turnover, return on investment, sales, margin, channel mix); and communicating objectives and results of financial and operational performance to senior management. Leads cross-functional initiatives by championing merchandising and planning objectives to internal and external business partners (for example, suppliers, category teams); contributing functional expertise; developing and presenting training materials and best practices; and participating in category and portfolio summits. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.
