Seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Florida-based Sales Manager to join the team a as we introduce UME Plum Liqueur to the Florida market
What is UME Plum Liqueur? 
UME Plum Liqueur is a recently launched plum-flavored spirit founded in 2020 by two successful women from high-powered careers in fashion and finance. UME was created with a vision of bringing to market a drink that is an experience in and of itself. 
A grain neutral spirit made with real plum and other natural fruit flavors, UME is delightfully tart and mildly sweet. With an alcohol content of 17%, UME lives in the fast-growing apéritif category.  The magic of UME is not limited to its ethereal taste - its royal purple hue transforms when mixed, giving UME the enigmatic quality of a potion, where every cocktail is a magic trick. About The Opportunity:
UME Plum Liqueur launched in NYC in June 2021 to overwhelming excitement, selling out the first production run in just two weeks. In under a month, the Purple Potion has achieved menu placements at top-tier restaurants and mixology bars, we have been featured alongside big name brands at high profile cultural events, while beginning to expand our presence in off-premise accounts. 
Due to our rapid growth in NYC, we are seeking to a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Sales Manager to join the team as we introduce UME to the Florida market. This candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside the founding team as we continue to rapidly expand UME's reach.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of industry experience, including relationships and knowledge of the South Florida / Miami market. Excitement and passion about an opportunity to introduce a completely new brand to the market is a must. Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for learning and growing alongside the product will be keys to success in this role.

How you will make an impact: 
  • Partner with the founding team and Director of Sales to develop and fine-tune sales and channel strategy for a completely unique and game-changing spirit
  • Develope and execute a fast-growing and sustainable sales funnel acrosthes the FL region
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and identify and build new relationships with accounts that are a strong cultural and strategic fit with the UME brand
  • Partner with the CMO to develop and execute strategy for placement and partnerships at high profile cultural events, including Art Basel, Miami Music Week, and others
  • Serve as the brand ambassador, maintaining strong presence with existing accounts to keep UME front of mind
  • Identify and execute opportunities to further brand reach by developing creative solutions to improve visibility in accounts -- influencing cocktail menu and physical placement of product and brand assets
  • Collaborate with the distributor to ensure orders are placed and received, providing accounts with  “white glove” customer service 
  • Collaborate with the CMO to create best-in-class solutions to educate accounts, stakeholders, and potential customers about the versatility and magic of UME Plum Liqueur. 
  • Conduct engaging educational sessions, collaborate on cocktail development, and fully engage on-premise staff with the UME Plum brand
  • Bring actionable product and marketing feedback and insights to the executive team
