THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Transportation Analyst II is responsible for managing Ulta's transportation providers and key partners to ensure the optimal balance of service, cost and capacity. In addition, this role will identify process improvements and drive meaningful changes across the business to improve service while maintaining or lowering costs. The Transportation Analyst II will be responsible for leading projects that drive results across the transportation function and the supply chain as a whole.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Managing day to day logistics operations for Ulta's Distribution Centers, Carriers, Stores and Vendors
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to understand success measures and provide superior service.
  • Leveraging systems and technology to manage transportation network inclusive of a track and trace program and a transportation management system (TMS).
  • Identifying logistics inefficiencies or service deficiencies and implement improvements. Develop and document the improved processes.
  • Managing carriers to ensure their capacity meets Ulta's demands
  • Managing shipment exceptions, shipment prioritizing and expedited shipments
  • Reporting KPI's for DC's, Carriers, Stores and Vendors (as appropriate)
  • Developing and document key processes to ensure consistency in our business and clarity of roles & responsibilities
  • Leading monthly/quarterly carrier reviews to drive accountability and performance
  • Assisting in data gathering for financial budgets and forecasts
  • Ensuring data accuracy across systems and spreadsheets to drive high quality work products.
  • Leading projects as assigned
