You'll accomplish all of this through three key areas:

Performance

•Consistently deliver sales growth in hair, skin, brow and make-up services
•Inspire and influence a team of Services Managers (SMs) and General Managers (GMs) within one district to exceed in all aspects of the services business, including service sales, guest satisfaction, and operational process
•Demonstrated aptitude to learn and teach best practices that promote sales growth, service techniques and product knowledge
•Support the execution of district salon events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience
•Build a team that embodies the Ulta Beauty's culture, delivering exceptional service and modeling on-brand, Ulta Beauty behaviors
•Routinely review and interpret financial and operational reporting
•Identify underperforming metrics and develop strategies that leverage company programs, tools and resources to improve
•Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support partner to SMs and GMs within their district

People

•Serve as a support partner to the Services District Educator (SDE) and District Manager
•Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of Services Managers and services professionals for the district, while teaching SMs and GMs how to network/recruit
•Support behavioral interviews for SM candidates
•Train, coach and develop SMs and ensure they are effectively executing monthly business development meetings
•Create an environment that inspires and encourages the growth and engagement of designers and skin therapists
•Develop mutually beneficial professional partnerships
•Ensure service excellence within the leadership team

Process

•Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures and standards (to include Infection Control Policy)
•Teach salon teams how to optimize schedules, manage inventory, maximize the company's task management tool, and related
•Protect company assets/minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met
•Support continuous improvement by implementing company programs and influencing end-user adoption

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

Qualified candidates will possess 5 years of relevant work experience (or equivalent combination of education and work experience). Additional requirements include:

•Strong financial/business acumen: demonstrated success driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets and controlling expense
•Advanced competency in salon sales, product and services
•Demonstrated knowledge of State Board of Cosmetologists regulations and hiring requirements
•Proven experience in attracting, developing and motivating top talent
•The ability to adapt to change and leading others through the change-curve
•Developing collaborative relationships and leading with influence
•Proficient with basic technologies (e.g., POS system, Microsoft Office programs, and Apple devices)
•Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with moving parts
•Strong critical reasoning skills to react under pressure, use good judgment in ambiguous situations, and be flexible/adaptable
•The ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule (to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
•Attend offsite meetings (may require overnight travel)
•A Bachelor's degree or a cosmetology diploma is preferred, but not required

Essential Functions:
•Continuous mobility throughout the store on a daily basis
•Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis
•Stoop, kneel, and crouch on a daily basis
•Climb a ladder and maintain balance on a daily basis
