About Us

From our humble beginnings in Austin, Texas, Tommy’s Superfoods promises to be a different kind of company. Tommy Williams started with a love of veggies, an organic garden, a kitchen full of cooks and a passion – to give frozen vegetables a healthy name along with a convenient way to get them, and keep them on your plate. So, he took everything he thought he knew about frozen foods and started fresh; with just the essential elements, the art of flash freezing and perfectly sourced ingredients for each and every offering.


These are two separate thoughts.  It would be more accurate to say: Tommy learned that by flash freezing vegetables at their nutritional peak the benefits of frozen might actually outweigh those of fresh by locking in and retaining their nutrients.  In addition, 40% of fresh vegetables today are thrown away before they are consumed so there is much less waste with frozen vegetables.


Tommy traveled the country foraging for the very best specialty vegetables grown in each area. Partnering with organic family farms from Oregon, to Idaho, to Michigan to the Bay Area of California. The best places in the world equal the best taste on your plate…so that’s where we go.


Tommy found that heavy sauces and extra salt seemed trite when you couple the pure flavor of vegetables with perfectly curated spices and seasonings for simple yet unique offerings. Enough offerings, in fact, that you can enjoy a different dish every night of the week from brussel sprouts to sweet potatoes to quinoa. So it’s easy to keep things interesting, or to obsess over your favorites.  Getting the recommended 2-3 cups of vegetables a day has never been more delicious.
