Tiny Organics is hiring our first Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager who will be critical to supporting the company’s financial planning process. Reporting directly to the COO, you will work closely with the operations third-party accounting teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage third-party accounting team in day to day processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions
Understand company Chart of Accounts and ensure expenses are properly coded based on business function
Respond to internal and external AP/AR inquiries
Own sales tax compliance software functionality and support outside accountants in tax preparation
Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures
Assist COO in investigating and putting in new control procedures wherever cost controls are needed
Work with manufacturing and operations teams to properly manage inventory and associated costs
Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organizational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities
Requirements
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial principles
Knowledge of consumer goods business operations preferred
MInimum 2 years professional experience in FP&A or related
Experience with Quickbooks or other financial software
Highly proficient in Excel (Microsoft and Google platforms)
