About The Position
Tiny Organics is hiring our first Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager who will be critical to supporting the company’s financial planning process. Reporting directly to the COO, you will work closely with the operations third-party accounting teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage third-party accounting team in day to day processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Understand company Chart of Accounts and ensure expenses are properly coded based on business function
  • Respond to internal and external AP/AR inquiries
  • Own sales tax compliance software functionality and support outside accountants in tax preparation
  • Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist COO in investigating and putting in new control procedures wherever cost controls are needed
  • Work with manufacturing and operations teams to properly manage inventory and associated costs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organizational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial principles
  • Knowledge of consumer goods business operations preferred
  • MInimum 2 years professional experience in FP&A or related
  • Experience with Quickbooks or other financial software
  • Highly proficient in Excel (Microsoft and Google platforms)
  • CPG industry experience preferred
