Brand Sales Ambassador
The Brand Sales Ambassador is responsible for representing our key suppliers in the New York market and personally driving commercial success in the field for our partners. Through the careful management of select target accounts you will be responsible for maximizing the sales of supplier brands to the trade through effective territory planning, selling, merchandising and communication. You are outgoing, personable and love the Wine and Spirits Industry with an eagerness to learn and grow.

●      You’re a storyteller with the proven skills to communicate in presentations with buyers, pitch meetings and beyond.
●      Driven by passion, conviction, and tenacity, you are a self-motivated individual who has strong, existing relationships that can assist in developing our presence in the off and on-premises market.
●      You will call on accounts and cover a daily route by creating an established and efficient routing pattern based on opportunity.
●      Each month you will deliver on KPI’s to increase distribution and sales growth within your key account base. 
●      Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to accounts and timely concise recaps to our management
●      Consistently attain standards of performance goals by achieving the distribution, volume, and activity goals of supplier brands as set by management.
●      Maintains professional relationships with all suppliers by participating in effective supplier work with sales calls, and sales blitzes when necessary.
●      You are the “first-in-the-know” of any new retail or restaurant openings in the NYC metro area.
●      You will personify the spirit of each of the brands in our portfolio and be the authentic voice when representing the brands.
●      Able to provide product, promotion, and suggested pricing information by clarifying business partners request and client requests; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions as a subject matter expert
●      Understand supplier’s goals and objectives and how to achieve needs at account level. To include selling features, drink list, display ideas, new products and innovation, cold box, shelf, well and back bar placements, wine lists, and promotions to increase velocity.
●      Enjoy educating account staff by administering educational staff training seminars to support your new placements.
●      You are well versed with professional industry knowledge and up to date on industry and market trends.
●      You are a change agent – and open to changing how we go to market


Education, Certifications and /or licenses:

●      College Degree preferred but not required 
●      Ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit if required.
●      Must have a valid driver’s license.
●      Must be over 21 years of age


●        A minimum of two years in sales or industry related experience required.


●      Familiarity with the New York market and key accounts, local trade and trade influencers, gatekeepers, cocktail trends, and opportunities.
●      An understanding and love of wine and spirits
●      Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
●      Category, brand, and portfolio strategy expertise
●      Must have strong influencing and negotiation skills
●      Results oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills 
●      Customer centric focus 
●      Ability to multitask, work autonomously and/or within a team, 
●      Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems including proprietary software
●      WSET, CMS or similar certifications preferred

While performing the duties of this job the associate is regularly exposed to a field-based role and the ability to travel by car, dress in proper business attire, attend evening -Weekend meetings/Events and meet deadlines are requirements of this position. Brand Advocate is required to be in the market and may require exposure to inclement weather.
