TEAM Enterprises is seeking an Activation Manager who will be responsible to increase brand awareness, execute pre-planned programming within a target account list and report results. To accomplish the set goals, individual must work effectively with local distributor, Bars, Restaurants and Hotels, TEAM HQ and client brand teams. This role will report directly into the Program Director and HQ client. This role sets objectives, track results, measure program ROI, and provide market-based insights and feedback through KPI scorecard process.

The AM will be based from their home office and work in the field within the Dallas territory to manage client expectations, sell-in programming to accounts, secure product orders and placements at account level by working in conjunction with local distributor, educate the trade on the product, execute consumer samplings, and manage all assets, logistics. The AM will be responsible for set up, break down, and execution of all sampling events. This position requires evening, and weekend work.

Activation Manager Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with the local Distributor Partner to align on target accounts and programming guidelines
  • Negotiate features and by the glass placements with accounts while selling in consumer sampling programs.
  • Pre-promotional confirmation calls to all accounts to review agreed upon event details
  • Educate trade on brand and execution of program
  • Set-up, breakdown of all consumer sampling events
  • Execute product sampling programs within assigned account base, including requests from local brand team while meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Educate consumer on brand and special features being offered
  • Track and manage budgets
  • Comply with all laws and requirements as well as COVID 19 protocols and guidelines

Qualifications

  • Spirits or Wines Experience a must
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred, but not required)
  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and execute flawless events
  • Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
  • Ability to work nights and weekends


Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular communication with TEAM Manager and Client as needed
  • Complete all administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that TEAM's objectives clearly align with client objectives
  • Recap all events and communicate to local contacts on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Develop an event schedule for client and TEAM to review upon scheduling events
  • Communicate monthly/weekly event calendar to client and distributor partners
  • Manage all budgets and expenses to ensure programs are executed within budget guidelines
  • Regular submission and tracking of day-to-day activities in designated platform


WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • 2-3 years promotional management experience
  • A love for wines and building brands
  • Must have clean driving record
  • Knowledge of local bars and restaurants
  • Strong oral, written, problem solving, motivational, and communication skills
  • Ability to gather information, analyze information and report key insights with recommendations for solutions
  • Ability to uphold the core values of TEAM and our client
  • Exercise high moral character and social responsibility; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Open to working nights and weekends as required; position will be outside of traditional office hours
  • Must be extremely organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Smartsheets
