The Havana Club Brand Ambassador will be based in Los Angeles and support the extended California market. The main responsibility of this role is to act as a link between Bacardi USA Sales and Marketing Managers to help develop the brand commercially through Sales and Marketing functions. Additionally, this role will have the following key tasks:
• Play a key role in developing on-premise distributor relations
• Make key account calls to educate staff, sell in programs and build the Havana Club brand in SOCAL
• Manage Havana Club pull through programming
• Drive Social Media presence for Brand and Key Accounts
• Provide timely reporting on programming and account universe
• Support local commercial team, BAM’s and distributor to strengthen relationships with key stake holder and drive commercial sales opportunities
• Track market trends, benchmark against competition, and provide feedback

Market Area Commercial Responsibilities:
• Drive visibility of HAVANA CLUB in Key Accounts
• Sell in pull through programming initiatives within Key Accounts
• Support local BUSA, SGWS and TEAM member in training and building brand affinity for Havana Club

Financial and Reporting Responsibilities:
• Ensure the delivery of programming objectives on time and on budget
• Effectively report all financial transactions and commitments to leadership team in a timely manner
• Utilize the Advocacy Tracking Tool to plan, manage and report on all activity in the field

Ideal Candidate Traits:
• Spirit sales experience with a key focus to drive commercial growth
• Highly engaging, articulate & passionate about spirits and rum
• Be culturally connected in market and within key accounts
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter with the agility to ‘manage the matrix’ of key internal stakeholders and also independently source & create new opportunities externally to deliver growth
• Possible mixology experience and ability to provide cocktail solutions
