About The Position
TapRm B2B Distribution team is looking for Independent Sales Representatives to join our growing team! We are hiring reps for these territories: NY Metro, Bronx, Westchester county, and Long Island.
Job Description
TapRm is looking for an Independent Sales Representative to join our B2B Distribution team. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, self-motivated, positive individual with excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for the beer industry. This role will be responsible for covering an specific sales territory within the NY Metro or Bronx market (on & off premise) and will report to the TapRm B2B Management Team. Specific duties include setting up sales appointments with new and existing clientele, confidently presenting a diverse portfolio, and driving sales. Our B2B team is always growing, and we are actively searching for those who are determined to take on more responsibilities and leadership opportunities as they become relevant. Pay commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales both to on and off premise accounts
  • Research, identify, and engage potential/new clientele 
  • Visit accounts, collect reorders, coordinate displays and report on product movement 
  • Increase distribution, customer interaction and overall brand awareness/presence 
  • Networking - Building and managing relationships with key accounts
  • Plan and manage time efficiently and appropriately  prioritize tasks
  • Utilize and develop sales tools to document wins/losses/growth opportunities

Qualifications:
  • Strong administrative/organizational skills and time-management: able to hold prioritize, and plan work activities/schedules to hit goals and objectives
  • Effective interpersonal skills: ability to communicate clearly and identify needs of others both 
  • Ability to build relationships, gather feedback and proactively problem-solve and identify opportunities/recognize client’s needs
  • Persistence to follow through on leads an
  • Team player: understands the bigger picture of the B2B Team’s goals
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the industry and awareness of current and emerging  trends
  • Familiarity with both on and off premise sales channels
  • Proficient in Google Suite

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of sales experience within the beverage industry (beer/seltzer strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to utilize public transportation
  • Valid Driver’s license, clean driving record and personal vehicle a plus
