About The Position
The District Manager will be responsible for driving distribution with wholesaler partners; engaging consumers to build brand awareness in designated markets; and managing all marketplace activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • The focus of your position is the development of our distributor business in conjunction with a focus towards the expansion of company chain business.
  • New initiatives within territory of sales, promotion and distributor.
  • Customer Acquisition and management of distributor sales.
  • Perform all sales, administration and managerial duties of the position.
  • Plan and execute effective sales calls.
  • Develop strong relationships with key accounts across the territory.
  • Drive distribution and display activity.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with wholesaler to ensure implementation of sales strategy and marketing programs.
  • Execute proper brand standards at retail and events.
  • Work with the wholesale network to coordinate and execute a broad range of activities such as product training, tastings, promotions, events, and work-withs
  • Organize and manage promotions and events to drive awareness.
  • Obtain results by effectively utilizing resources and budget provided.
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and influencers to grow sales and awareness

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 5 years in Sales (3-4 years works as well) , preferably working for a winery, distributor or importer/supplier
  • Language Skills: English and Spanish- Native Proficiency on both (flexible if not native)
  • BA/BS preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Attributes: Responsible, Self Starter, Social, Analytical, Interest in learning and improving, hunter mentality.
  • Experience working with key chain and independent accounts in market area.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in identifying and executing events, festivals, tastings, and promotions
  • Ability to problem solve and an inner drive to succeed
  • A flexible schedule that will allow for work some nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as an ability to learn other technology to complete sales calls and recaps
