About The Position
Sugarbreak is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the food/beverage/supplement/beauty industry. This individual will be working closely with the CEO and executive team to help manage the supply of existing products, as well as be an integral part of bringing new products to market. This role requires organization, inventory management, forecasting skills, and analytical thinking. If you are proactive, like solving problems and excited about building a business from day 1, then this role is for you. The role will be remote to start, but will eventually be in New York (open to other locations on the East Coast). 

• Responsible replenishing supply of  finished goods based on forecasted needs, maintaining inventory reports, includinging shelf life expiration, support on time, in full shipments to customers
• Proactively identify supply issues  and propose solutions
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with co-packers regarding forecasted needs and facilitate obtaining line time within the lead time required.
• Generate S&OP planning cycle to  communicate potential inventory or customer service gaps or risks to cross functional partner
  • Allocate inventory based on forecasted needs to the appropriate warehouse locations while keeping freight costs at a minimum

• Work with the Supply Chain to identify opportunities for improvement related to capacity planning, productivity and plan attainment metrics through Continuous Improvement efforts as well as planning system parameters
• Execute what-if scenarios in the mid and long-term horizon to anticipate end to end planning capabilities required to satisfy demands
  • Facilitate logistics of fulfilling orders and transfer of finished goods amongst warehouses
  • Main point of contact in communicating with 3PLs
  • Work with the operations and finance departments to drive down the cost of goods and logistics over time
  • Aid in the evaluation of 3PLs and other vendors in the supply chain

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, and/or Logistics
• 3-5 years combined experience in: Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, and/or Logistics
• Background in production planning,, forecasting, and or procurement and planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively engage others as necessary to resolve issues required
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a high commitment to meeting schedules
• Experience in perishable goods with complex supply chains 
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
• Knowledge of inventory management  systems strongly preferred
