About The Position
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities listed below. The duties and responsibilities include the following, though other duties may be assigned.
 
  • Lead all aspects of distilled spirits and copacker production including blending, aging, distilling, bottling, and facility management. 
  • Ensure production functions operate smoothly and align with our efficiency and quality standards
  • Oversee all aspects of the Blending team including ensuring the adherence to SOP for Quality, Safety, compliance, and efficiency  
  • Ensure an effective and efficient collaboration between various operations functions (blending, bottling, warehouse, inventory)  
  • Actively participate and assist in demand planning
  • Ensure production staffing levels meet current needs
  • Maintain plant quality performance standards 
  • Establish production key performance indictors and conduct quality assessments
  • Ensure proper execution and documentation of all regulatory requirements
  • Actively learn, train, and execute within the standard operating procedures of the ERP system    
  • Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures
  • Responsible for all safety compliance matters 
  • Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
  • Oversee the team responsible for facility management and equipment maintenance 
  • Recommend strategic solutions to improve profitability
Qualifications:  
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each qualification satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 
 
  • Solid knowledge of alcohol beverage operations management
  • Experience with beverage alcohol blending techniques  
  • Experience with forecasting and planning models
  • Experience using production ERP systems (Nav or Dynamics 365 a plus) 
  • The ability to interpret financial data and allocate budgets
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
