The Web Content Manager is a member of the Corporate Communications Team at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (SGWS). In this new role, you will be responsible for publishing, managing, and optimizing the digital content offered through a newly designed Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits corporate website using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Management System (CMS). You will work with a cross-functional team of department heads, subject matter experts and technology partners to meet the evolving needs of the business and deliver the best user experience for customers, suppliers, job candidates and other stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a cross-functional team alongside multiple business stakeholders to ensure the corporate website is a lead generator for new business, drives organic traffic, clearly delivers the Company’s brand message, provides a superior user experience, and meets the evolving business needs of the organization
  • Manage content governance model as well as the editorial and publishing calendar for the corporate website to ensure content is up to date, relevant and of value to target audiences
  • Implement an SEO strategy that positively impacts traffic, engagement, lead generation and other established website KPIs
  • Responsible for authoring content via the Adobe CMS by selecting templates, components and modules, and adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web content based on digital brand guidelines and stakeholder input
  • Counsel business owners how to best meet their objectives within the digital channel and coordinate alignment between content channels (social, PR, internal)

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage any ongoing website enhancements working with business owners and supporting technology partners
  • Maintain ADA compliance for web content
  • Responsible for the functional testing and accuracy of content updates completed
  • Assist with investigation of occasional technical bugs
  • Manage analytics to identify important insights, create success metrics, report on performance and find opportunities to improve the user experience
  • Work collaboratively with owners of other channels within Southern Glazer’s digital ecosystem (i.e. intranet, ecommerce) to share and optimize content

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of web content management experience
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working with an enterprise Content Management Systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree in digital marketing, communications, computer science or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editorial writing experience for digital mediums
  • General knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools, preferably Adobe Analytics
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple, concurrent projects with tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, responsive, and dedicated to driving success

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
