Job Description

Coordinator, Trade Development

FLSA Status:

Non-Exempt

Overview

Responsible for item setup, maintenance and coordination of inventory tracking to ensure timely supply of products to service our customers. Coordinates ordering, tracking, receiving, and transferring of inventory. Acts as liaison between commercial, trade development, operations, or any other departments to ensure alignment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Point of contact for purchase order inquiries
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in ETAs, past due ETAs, and back-order items
  • Collaborate with supply chain, brand, and sales to resolve supply constraints
  • Review reports and logs to ensure back-order and out of stock are ordered and ETAs are updated on purchase orders
  • Assist operations team in processing order schedules and receipts
  • Process in-state (appointed/terminated brands), out-of-state and intra-Company SGWS transfer processes and follow up
  • Drive continuous improvement in the inventory process, identify roadblocks and create action plans to resolve
  • Input and maintain item status and substitutions in a timely fashion, as requested by team
  • Efficiently oversee and manage the new item set up process in a timely and efficient manner
  • Input and manage item reserves and allocations to ensure that we have an accurate tracking for inventory and can meet customer expectations
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma and two years of experience
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed for brand transfers


Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the inventory process practice including commercial sales, demand planning, accounting and operations functions
  • Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and specialized business applications software
  • Effectively communicate, update, and facilitate discussions with all departments
  • Knowledge of applicable state regulations and adult beverage market dynamics
  • Ability to assist on multiple projects/priorities on tight deadlines and maintain a high level of quality output
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills


Physical Demands
  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to the rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
