What You Need To Know


Assist in preparation of payroll earning statements. Ensure that all employees are paid correctly and in a timely manner while remaining current on all changes in policies and procedures affecting payroll. Partner with management to identify problems, find solutions, facilitate changes, train, and analyze data to help secure an accurate payroll in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for salaried, commissioned sales, and hourly employees
  • Input new hires in payroll system making sure all paperwork is completed properly
  • Review and input any employee changes (salary, branch, job, address, etc.) in payroll system
  • Research and resolve all payroll requests or inquiries
  • Review, input, and verify garnishments set-up and payments
  • Audit personnel/payroll files as needed
  • Serve as backup for other payroll administrators
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • 3 years of experience in a multi-jurisdictional payroll environment
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of payroll concepts, compliances, practices, and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suites and/or software applications related to job functions

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
