Job Description

The Director of Talent Cultivation will partner with our Executives and Human Resources to impact our business strategy, identify the talent needed to accomplish our
strategy and ensure we have the right talent to fill top roles in the organization. This includes facilitating effective programs for the retention, promotion and
succession planning of our talent. The Director, serves as a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, delivering leading-edge organizational design consulting
services and tools for highly complex and large-scale organizational redesigns of key significance to SGWS. The role will consult and coach leaders on a variety of
organization design issues including but not limited to operating structure, career pathing, modernization of functions, workforce planning, roles and accountabilities,
for both current needs and future growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Leads the Succession Management and Organization Design Strategy for the organization and partners including the design, development, implementation, and enhancement
of the Succession Management & Talent Cultivation process that results in the cultivation of an internal, diverse bench of top talent to fill our executive positions
• Build and scale enterprise approach, methodology and framework for organizational design and workforce planning and lead the development, implementation, change
management and execution of OD methodologies, tools and templates at an enterprise, function and division level.
• Connect with VP and above top talent, their respective managers and HR to monitor and positively impact their development progress, level of engagement, and
retention risk
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Executives, HRVPs, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development in order to fully understand the business and
provide meaningful developmental recommendations for top talent and on point internal talent recommendations for open senior leader roles
• Provide oversight, direction, and coaching to Talent Management team to foster a spirit of teamwork, continuous improvement (programs and individual development),
inclusion and healthy conflict resolution to enable each employee and the department to succeed
• Build and scale enterprise approach, methodology and framework for organizational design and workforce planning and lead the development, implementation, change
management and execution of OD methodologies, tools and templates at an enterprise, function and division level.
• Oversee the development of a strategic workforce plan to ensure that the right roles and capabilities are in place to support the current and future business needs
• Lead the development, strategy, and management of implementation plans for deploying TM Programs and roll-out of OD methodologies, tools and templates at an enterprise,
function and division level. This includes establishing key milestones, monitoring progress, and finalizing budget/scope and high-level architecture.
• Manage a scorecard that provides indicators of strength and depth of talent pipeline/bench, measures return on development investment and tracks movement against
strategic talent needs
• Oversee talent slate recommendations and insights for national critical roles based on succession planning data
• Partner with field HR and the Organizational Effectiveness Team to focus on development planning and coaching for individuals identified on succession plans and
participating in high potential programs.
• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to collaboratively implement solutions and build key stakeholder knowledge, skills and abilities in the following
key areas: Talent Reviews and Calibration, Succession Management, Assessment/Selection, Gap Analysis, and Solutioning, Development and Career Planning, Engagement,
Organizational Design and leadership development initiatives
• Collaborate with Senior Director of Talent Management on oversight of TM Program budget
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree plus ten years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three years of experience directly supervising others
• Demonstrated knowledge of designing and implementing organization-wide talent management processes and programs including talent reviews, calibrations, succession planning,
development framework, performance management, and career management
• Demonstrated knowledge of coaching concepts and methods to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals or teams in learning and improving the effectiveness
• Strong customer focus to effectively and quickly build relationships with senior business leaders and establish trust, respect, and confidence
• Project Management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously remains flexible in a demanding work environment, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
• Ability to develop creative solutions and drive effective organizational change
• Ability to use, administer and debrief career tools, psychological instruments, and multi-source assessments
• Strong analytical, leadership and verbal/written communication skills
• Interpersonal and presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management
• Ability to Travel: domestically, up to 50%
