What You Need To Know


The Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing the recruitment function for SGWS Corporate functions.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Assist Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition in developing and executing best in class regional talent acquisition processes and procedures which include but are not limited to talent acquisition planning, employment branding, diversity &  inclusion, candidate relationship management, metrics and analytics, and strategic sourcing
  • Partner with senior corporate functional leaders including Information Technology (ETP), Finance, and Human Resources to understand the business strategy and challenges and develop recruiting efforts to align and/or help develop a robust, diverse workforce plan
  • Collaborate with the Corporate HR VP in leading talent acquisition resources in implementing approved Talent Acquisition processes and procedures within their respective regions/divisions
  • Provide management and leadership to the corporate recruiting team to successfully meet the necessary recruitment goals and objectives
  • Establish credibility and serve as a trusted advisor to internal clients and support corporate talent acquisition resources to ensure they have the access, support and ability to help select the most qualified diverse talent for roles
  • Provide relevant, accurate and timely information related to recruiting metrics and insights to Corporate HR VPs, key senior functional leaders and corporate recruiting resources
  • Partner with Talent Management to ensure that internal top talent is being identified and considered for open roles
  • Partner with Learning & Development to ensure that hiring managers and talent acquisition team members are provided with the appropriate training to hire the most qualified diverse talent
  • Collaborate with the Diversity & Inclusion team to ensure the best use of sourcing strategies to develop diverse candidate slates for open roles
  • Set the strategy in conjunction with the Corporate HRVP for Talent Acquisition resources to provide positive candidate experiences and sustain a pipeline for diverse talent for future key positions
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

  • Strategic thinking and vision for the best in class Talent Acquisition processes and procedures
  • Business Acumen skills to understand business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills
