What You Need To Know

Overview

The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for working with external customers to resolve payment discrepancies including missing and past due payment. This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with two to four years experience in the field or related area and has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.  Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answers and responds to incoming calls, emails, faxes, and voice mails from internal and external customers requesting assistance on Past due invoice
  • Assigning more complicated requests to the appropriate departments for resolution.
  • Researching and resolving requests, initiating and following up on interdepartmental communication, providing customers with status updates.
  • Keeps current on department and company-wide processes to assist customers with their questions.
  • Sharing knowledge and information about processes among team members.
  • Regularly communicating with the functional teams that Customer Care supports.
  • Provide feedback through appropriate channels to facilitate process improvement and optimize operational efficiency.
