What You Need To Know

Overview

Serve as the primary liaison between the local market and the New Ventures CBD team; partnering with the local market selling teams to ensure mutual achievement of established targets and desired outcomes.  Act as a CBD category subject matter expert and provide necessary support through engagement; collaboration; and focused execution.  Generate and execute supplier programs that deliver exceptional results; meet company and supplier volume and value targets through coaching and collaboration with local market stakeholders.
 

Primary Responsibilities


•    Drive brand success via leadership sales support against target trade channels and support the selling efforts of the selling divisions.
•    Lead planning, programming, coordination, and communication of local market sales initiatives to achieve company and supplier objectives.
•    Support traction and growth of new suppliers and innovation product launches through local planning and programming.
•    Regularly engage and support field management for execution of programs for CBD brands, with support of in-market opportunities for sales in accounts, as needed.
•    Prioritize and lead local brand and category education of sales force, customers, and consumers through in-person and online education initiatives; serve as a visible, recognized local trade subject matter expert for internal     teams and the trade.
•    Partner with Market Sales Leadership, Trade Development Business Intelligence, and Commercial Finance to ensure all programs and tracking are accurate, timely and aligned with regional and individual state reporting and     standards.
•    Partner with Suppliers, in-market, to identify and grow account sales in accounts; increase product knowledge; and develop in-market product expertise 
•    Analyze consumer trends and channels to identify and maximize local market opportunities.
•    Own forecasting and inventory management process. 
•    Ensure brand pricing and gross profit is aligned to strategy by channel.
•    Ensure the proper utilization of funds and banks as related to local marketing and brand planning.


Preferred Qualifications
•    Good knowledge of Sales and demonstrated ability to learn new product categories
•    Proficient working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email and specialized business applications software (ex. Sales Nav, E2O, Compass, Go Spot Check, or similar)
•    Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and relevant stakeholders
•    Must require little direction or supervision; thrive on creating and selling innovative ideas and demonstrate and entrepreneurial spirit
•    Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities on tight deadlines and maintain high level of quality output
•    Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
•    Overnight travel as required
•    Ability to create and sell innovative ideas
•    Goal-oriented focused, and assertive individual who needs a little direction or supervision
