Our countertop appliance produces a single portion of gelato, sorbet or frozen yogurt fresh to order in a matter of moments. The nature of our unique technology topped off (pun intended!) with the selection of premium ingredients offers an artisan quality gelato that contains no preservatives, up to 40% less sugar and less fat compared to popular grocery store brands. Truly, a new spin on ice cream! 

Solato is looking for a Marketing Manager – The Marketing Manager will support the business needs of the Marketing department, and report to the Chief Marketing Officer. This role would best fit someone with more than 2 years’ experience in advanced level marketing. We are looking for someone who can work with the Solato brand and tell a story. Assist the Solato brand with getting public recognition. Set up appearances for networking events. Assist with getting branding opportunities, business opportunities, and Partnerships. Additional duties would include setting up presentations, trainings, and photoshoots. This position requires a passionate individual with a vision. We are looking for a strong minded go-getter, a people-person willing to do what it takes to promote the Solato brand.

Job Description:

  • Act as liaison with project initiators and stakeholders to gather information necessary to begin a project
  • Review project submissions to ensure information is complete.
  • Work with the marketing team throughout the creative process to track, coordinate, and implement marketing deliverables and tactics such as PR, social media, design and content, and deliver final assets to vendors and team members
  • Schedule and track market milestone dates, campaign and project meetings, and maintain briefs that list all deliverables and align the team on project goals
  • Enter and coordinate deliverables and connect with stakeholders throughout the market area and creative process, to track progress and approval of each deliverable in order to meet deadlines
  • Continuously analyze and update project plans and timelines including deliverables, assignments, and outcomes
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, from start up to execution through completion.
  • Continuously keep the project team and leadership informed as to the project’s purpose, background, scope, requirements, and important issues.
  • Identify and manage overall project dependencies and ensure project deliverables stay on time and on target
  • Follow development process and project management best practices, and drive their continuous improvement
  • Identify, appropriately escalate, and ensure resolution of issues
  • Accomplish department and organization missions by completing related tasks as needed
  • Liaise between departments, co-workers and leadership to ensure timelines are met, and overall projects are a success with measurable outcomes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a “People Person”
  • Proactive and resourceful - able to execute ideas
  • Self-starter – A highly motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision but maximum cooperation
  • Prior experience in marketing / Food Tech a plus
  • Team player, able to work alongside several internal teams, and believes in and thrives in a Team-Focused environment
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, MS Suite (Excel)
