About The Position
Position Summary 
 
The RARE Education Concierge role is a full-time position dedicated to brand building, education and supporting activities for the Ultra premium brands of the Campari RARE Portfolio including Lallier Champagne, Russell’s Reserve, Wilderness Trail, The Glen Grant, Bisquit & Doubuche, Del Professore, Mayenda, Grand Cuvees of Grand Marnier, Appleton Estate and Braulio.  The Education Concierge must be passionate about the ultra premium category and a dynamic public speaker who can represent our ultra-premium brands as a product expert and deliver key brand messages to trade (and consumer) audiences. The Education Concierge must be based out of the NY Metro area, and needs to be able to travel up to 80% of the year. 
 
The Education Concierge will focus on forming essential partnerships with industry influencers as well leveraging their existing relationships and will be the expert in on Brand education and trade affinity. This role will serve to increase brand awareness and product storytelling among trade/consumers, lead brand trainings in multiple environments and feature brands at industry events. This position will be a Spokesperson for the brand and plays a crucial role in elevating the organization as a category and industry leader.   
 
Essential Job Duties & Skills  
  • Trade Education 
  • Serve as product knowledge expert for the RARE Portfolio 
  • Educate trade, brand and distributor/broker partners on benefits of all RARE brands 
  • Support sales division teams with distributor meetings, account trainings and trade events 
 
Trade Outreach & Engagement  
  • Create unique brand experiences to motivate trade, connect them to the RARE Portfolio of brands, and drive awareness and trial 
  • Grow relationships and build good will in core set of influential accounts  
  • Inspire accounts and bartenders to become advocates 
 
Events   
  • Attend all high-level trade events and support brand as needed 
  • Assist in planning and execution of national, local, and ad hoc events  
  • Support brand at trade events and relevant initiatives  
 
 PR/CRM/ Communications 
  • Captivate and educate accounts through highly engaging and interactive presentations 
  • Represent brands as industry leader and product expert 
  • Serve as the brand/product expert in the on premise and amongst industry peers (media, consumer, trade, and internal brand team) 
  • Key influencer networking and education  
  • Host press tastings as needed 
 
Reporting  
  • Maintain weekly reporting via online reporting platform  
  • Report market trends in on premise community 
 
Brand Support 
  • Support Brand programs with promotion/recruiting and hosting as needed 
  • Identify Industry trends and how to leverage them in the on premise 
  • Assist with drink strategy and cocktail development as requested 
  • Support new product and innovation projects 
  • Help audit and manage Brand training tool kits and materials, consulting and working with Brand, Trade Marketing and On Premise teams to continuously improve the education materials around all RARE Portfolio brands 
 
Experience & Qualifications 
 
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent gained via work experience within the luxury category 
  • Embodies the essence of the brand in behavior and delivery of key brand messages 
  • Experience working with luxury brand(s) and their clientele 
  • Category, brand and portfolio expertise 
  • On premise familiarity and experience is a plus 
  • Previous Brand Ambassador and/or spirits sales and marketing experience is required 
  • Prior experience working with and presenting to media/PR is preferred 
  • Socially connected with Influencer communities in key markets 
  • Acting experience, a plus
