The Spirits Sales Representative's are part of central to the growth of Craft Connecticut. Day to day duties include the successful sale, distribution and market share capture for the entire wine and spirits portfolio in the Fairfield County territory. This individual will be responsible for developing new business at current no-buy accounts along with maintaining and growing an existing account list.
*The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM. The Sales Reps. must be flexible to attend to customer accounts scheduling needs if outside those hours. Essential Job Functions: - Develop and maintain effective customer relations and promote the goodwill of the company
- Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed
- Successful sale, distribution, and placement of all Craft Beer Guild products
- Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS
- Effective accounts receivable collections within corporate credit policy
- Conduct promotions in accounts on a regular basis or when required
- Develop new accounts and new placements
- Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neon's and banners at all accounts
- Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other inquiries as they arise
- Execute monthly goals as related to business activities
- Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area
- Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For: - BA/BS degree OR substantial work with spirits in an off-premise or on-premise setting
- Direct experience in beverage industry, specifically with wine and spirits
- Previous experience as a bartender or bar manager highly desired
- Ability and willingness to work in both a team environment and independently
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Travel required: 5 days a week in the trade, within assigned territory
- Valid and clean driver's license in the state of MA, with active auto insurance and reliable transportation
