We are currently looking for Route Sales Representative to grow the company's world-class portfolio of beer, cider, spirits, and wine while identifying new opportunities to increase market share while building and managing relationships with accounts. The ideal candidate for this role should be self-motivated, high-energy, and eager to learn new things. This position will work mainly in the central part of Connecticut (Hartford/Middlesex/Central) and with occasional travel to the warehouse in North Haven.
*The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday typical start time is 8 AM to 5/6 PM.
*Total compensation range for this position is $59,500 to $79,000 with an uncapped earning potential based on revenue growth plus increased earning through above and beyond incentives.

What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain effective customer relations and promote the goodwill of the company
- Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed
- Successful sale, distribution, and placement of all Craft Beer Guild products
- Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS
- Effective accounts receivable collections within corporate credit policy
- Conduct promotions in accounts on a regular basis or when required
- Develop new accounts and new placements
- Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neons and banners at all accounts
- Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other inquiries as they arise
- Execute monthly goals as related to business activities
- Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area
- Other duties as assigned
What you will need to succeed:
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Previous experience working in sales and customer service
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally)
- Valid and clean driver's license, use of own car each day, and active auto insurance
- Ability to fulfill physical demands of the job
- Ability and willingness to work independently
