Job Description/Responsibilities

Our Finance Leadership Development Internship Program offers an exceptional opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of our industry and what it takes to lead teams/change in a fast paced and dynamic organization.

Through business-critical projects, you will gain a working understanding of our industry, develop your professional skill sets all while directly contributing to company growth. Our Finance Leadership Development Interns work closely with our organization's finance and accounting leaders to gain a thorough understanding of the departmental functions. You will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience by contributing to and leading projects that directly impact company productivity.

  • Commitment to the entire 12-week summer 2021 internship
  • Work with a mentor to develop project plans and set goals
  • Complete process improvement projects in assigned areas including: Commercial Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, General Ledger Accounting, Operations Accounting, and Corporate Consolidations
  • Develop and write standards for assigned processes
  • Leadership development intern events will also be available both during and after work (COVID-19 permitting). These include networking throughout the company, time with senior leaders and extracurricular activities
  • Opportunity to earn a fulltime position within the 24-month Finance Leadership Development Program
  • Position located in Louisville, KY


Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Desire to embrace new challenges
  • Desire to be challenged with assignments across all functions of corporate finance and accountancy
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Authorized to work for any United States employer
