Job Description/Responsibilities

The Bond & Royal Regional Manager is a hybrid Key Account Manager and Sales Manager, responsible for managing and developing the Bond & Royal Portfolio Manager team. This position reports into the General Manager and is tasked with delivering the annual brand plan for their own territory as well as that of their entire region.

Ideal base locations for this position includes: Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco

Additional responsibilities for the Bond & Royal Regional Manager include:
  • Responsible for providing increased training, accountability, and driving performance deliverables for the Bond & Royal team
  • Work with National Account team on unique cocktail strategies, custom programs, and event conceptualization and execution
  • Manage and measure the results of the Bond & Royal team, and provide weekly updates to the General Manager around KPI's, Recaps, Pre-Plans and Performance Development System
  • Facilitate 1:1 coaching calls and market visits with Portfolio Managers for continual sales training and evaluation
  • Be a liaison between Portfolio Managers and Sazerac Sales teams, driving top down planning against Bond & Royal plan
  • Provide monthly tracker updates to the General Manager on how the Portfolio Managers are tracking against their rate per case budget
  • Assist General Manager in building industry leading sales tools for the Bond & Royal team to leverage in market
  • Act as a Key Account Manager, owning a group of regional on and off premise accounts, driving results and expanding the B&R footprint
  • Achieve assigned KPI's including, distribution, menu placements and volume incentives for assigned key accounts
  • Attend Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic wholesale partners and Sazerac sales teams, ensuring that the Bond & Royal annual plan is being executed
  • Coordinate and participate in on premise blitzes against the full Bond & Royal portfolio and individual strategic brands
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and sales targets in a turn-key fashion for the sales teams to execute
  • Ensure consistent pricing and messaging on the Bond & Royal brands across the region
  • Work with brand teams to develop a captivating and meaningful social media strategy with unique content to recruit and maintain a rabid consumer base
  • Develop cocktail suggestions, food pairing and techniques, executing trainings for sales teams, wholesalers, key accounts and leverage our digital channels


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the Alcohol Beverage industry, specifically on-premise
  • Minimum 3 years of brand or trade marketing experience
  • Minimum 3 years of data analytics and reporting experience
  • Ability to motivate through compelling training
  • Experience communicating across all levels of an organization
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Key or National Account experience (on and off premise)
  • Experience working in a Control State
  • Minimum 1 year of COGNOS experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Event Management experience
