About The Position
The Market Manager candidate must be a highly motivated individual who will manage key on and off premise accounts in their territory.
Scope of Position: 
  • Build the Sagamore brand – must be able to articulate and be passionate about our brand and story
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with bartenders, account managers, buyers, staff and ownership
  • Manage Sagamore business, including all on premise and retail key accounts within a geographical area (county).  Managers will be bonused on:
    • Volume growth across geographical area
    • New Account growth
    • Core SKU growth
  • Execute key sales drivers across key account base including distribution, back bar and shelf visibility, displays, menus, tastings, staff trainings and POS merchandising
  • Work with distributor reps in field with focus on building rep’s understanding and knowledge of Sagamore products, as well as joint account business building and execution
  • Attend (and potentially lead) all General Sales Meetings in market
  • Manage POS ordering and POS inventory management
  • Manage KARMA data entries and complete all required account surveys (pricing, POS)
  • Manage T&E budget
  • Non-traditional hours including nights and weekends. (Weeknight and weekend events, trade shows, activations and off premise tastings)
Skill Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, alcohol industry preferred
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of computer skills including Power Point, Excel and Word
  • Proven track record in KPI goal achievement and delivery of assigned sales targets
  • Ability to work with both on premise and retail accounts to sell in and merchandise product per company standards. 
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success building partnerships across organizational boundaries
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines
  • Organize deliverables in a clean and presentable format
  • Ability to grow within company and take on management role in the future
  • Think and act like an entrepreneur
  • Must have daily access to your own vehicle
