Overview

Under supervision, the Benefits Administrator performs work in the areas of benefits, payroll and HRIS administration and performs related work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assists in administration of the benefits program through auditing assigned reports and working with cross-functional team to resolve issues / errors

• Participates in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting and preparing invoices for payment

• Provides assistance to field HR on benefit related topics and distributions

• Administers mileage and gas receipt reporting process for all markets and coordinates tax liability with Payroll team

• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database as needed

• Maintains current Optimum system related to email, phone, supervisors

• Maintains UltiPro system for terminations and other associate transactions

• Assists with mass data updates that are required as part of system conversion, process changes or M&A activities

• Provides back-up to benefits coordinator and team administrator

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years related Benefits or HR systems experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous Benefits or HR systems experience required.
