Sure, we need your top-tier skills, but we’re also looking for someone who’ll sync with our vibe and bring some serious positivity to the mix.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


You’ll be nailing the following (and then some):

Player/Coach: Lead and motivate our Field Sales & Marketing Reps across your territory.
  • Become the go-to Plift expert in the Chicago area, reporting directly to the VP of Sales.
  • Teach and train distributors and retail partners on everything Plift.
  • Personally manage 25+ accounts each week, from bars to retail spots.
  • Host monthly planning and review sessions with Distributor/Broker leadership—because hitting targets should always be a team win.
  • Master the art of managing multiple distributors with finesse.
  • Scout out and lock in new venues and retail accounts for our delicious beverages.
  • Wow the crowd with your presentation chops and rally the team like a boss.
  • Be a market detective, sniffing out sales opportunities and boosting product visibility with head-turning displays, promotions, and signage.
  • Plan and execute killer promotional events at venues, accounts, and festivals.
SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • 5+ years of sales and sales management experience, with a proven ability to manage distributors, lead teams, and crush quotas.
  • Knows the ins and outs of Wholesaler/Broker distribution tiers.
  • Turns boring old data into compelling stories and sells the socks off-market opportunities.
  • Financially savvy with a talent for pricing strategies.
  • Exceptional people management skills—you’re a natural leader.
  • Presentation skills that could sell ice to penguins while telling the story of Plift.
  • A pro at building relationships and partnerships that last.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Knows how to write incentives, plan ride-alongs, and keep distributor partners excited and engaged.
COMPENSATION – AKA, THE GOOD STUFF
  • Base: $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
  • Uncapped bonus plan based on performance
  • Unlimited vacation (because we all need that work-life balance)

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
  • 75% of your time will be spent “In Market” (aka, in the field).
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Experience in beer, wine, spirits, or other regulated industries is a major plus.
  • Understanding of the 2018 Farm Bill and local laws is key.
  • Must be 21+ years old.
