Today, we make the healthiest drinkable yogurt on the market (the only with no added sugar and both pre + probiotics) and we are one of the fastest growing yogurt brands in the US- thriving in over 2000 doors of some of the best retailers such as Whole Foods, Kroger, Hannaford, Harris Teeter, Wegmans, Market Basket, Ahold, and more! 

Key responsibilities below, but ultimately we are looking for a passionate leader who understands the complexities of retail CGP and our highly nuanced category, who can be successful in a ‘startup environment’, serving as a steward for rapid, and profitable, growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to create (write & build out by account and channel) a detailed Sales Strategy Plan
  • Develop key sales metrics; then monitor, report and react
  • Call and sell directly to key accounts (mostly east coast) with little/no broker support
  • Develop and manage broker and distributor networks and ensure satisfactory performance.
  • Develop and closely manage trade spend budget as part of sales plan above
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure a coordinated approach to the consumer and customer.
  • Co-develop sales collateral and in-store marketing materials.
  • Responsible for all submissions & new item setups for current and future accounts
  • Design and implement sales processes and systems
  • Recruit, develop, lead the internal and external sales team, as the company grows
  • Represent Pillars at key industry and customer trade shows and events
  • Track and leverage industry, customer and competitive trends to always enhance our sales story
“Must Have” Skills and Experience:
  • 4+ years of sales experience in food/ beverage CPG industry, w/ at least two yrs at senior level 
  • Sales experience with start-up/ small company
  • Direct sales calling experience
  • Direct broker and distributor management experience
  • Outstanding presentation building and communication skills.
  • Thrives in a ‘do-what-it-takes”, entrepreneurial environment
  •  “Bottom-up” Forecasting skills (Excel or other);
  • Ability to build sales and promo plans from scratch; track & measure against budget & forecast
  • Ability to travel domestically without restrictions.
  • Willing and able to roll-up sleeves and do whatever it takes to get results 
  • Help CEO source, hire, and manage additional team members
  • Budget management and financial literacy.
Desireable Skills and Experience:
  • Sales leadership experience launching new brands.
  • Rolodex of Dairy food retail buyers.
  • Food and beverage marketing experience.

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential. 
Full Time. Offices in Boston & Framingham. 
Candidate should be Greater Boston/ New England based with easy access to Boston for meetings at company offices several times per month. 
Day to day, remote based with travel (mostly east coast)
