This is a remote position. The candidate selected for this opportunity must reside in the designated market (WA, AK, OR, ID, MT, WY, or UT), preferably in WA, or be willing to relocate. 

The Regional Sales Manager - Pacific NW develops, manages, and maintains business relationships with Phillips Distilling distributors within the Pacific NW Region of North America; which includes WA, AK, OR, ID, MT, WY, & UT to meet or exceed all qualitative and quantitative regional and business objectives. 

Essential Duties
  • Execute annual sales and marketing plan by educating and supporting the control states and distributor partners.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with distributor partners and state buyers for the region.
  • Effectively engage and manage local and regional on and off premise accounts/chains within the region.
  • Manage National on and off premise accounts sales and marketing programs.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business review/planning meetings with distributors, including annual market surveys.
  • Conduct informative general sales meetings and select team meetings; responsible to educate distributor sales team and key on and off-premise staff of PDC brands and programs.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all components of cost-of-goods, FOB, distributor and retail pricing and manage all promotional, travel and entertainment budgets to ensure that company is maximizing profitability.
  • Execute and manage effective pricing, promotional and incentive program calendars to ensure meeting or exceeding sales goals and annual company objectives
  • Utilize company systems, including expense reports, marketing & product brand resources, analytics tools, etc.
  • Ensure distributors maintain adequate inventories of product and point-of-sale materials to fulfill all sales and marketing programs.
  • Initiate recap letters following all “work-with(s)” and meetings with distributor personnel, ensuring adequate and timely follow-up as required.
  • Plan and submit quarterly calendar to Sr Regional Manager.
  • Be an ambassador for the company and its brands and above all, have fun!
 Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ sales management experience in the distilled spirits industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must reside within key state of this region.
  • Must be highly energetic, creative, and self-motivated; with ability to work independently to meet and/or exceed business goals and objectives.
  • Ability to effectively prepare and manage a budget; prioritize, organize and delegate assignments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications; exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to work with “team first” approach.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including E-Mail, Spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Up to 50% travel within assigned geographic area, occasional evening and weekend work attending events as required.
  • Must reside in the designated market (WA, AK, OR, ID, MT, WY, or UT), preferably in WA, or be willing to relocate. 
  • Valid driver’s license.
