The internship is an excellent learning opportunity for people who want to pursue a career in marketing. The role supports our wine business, specifically on The Wine Group portfolio (TWG). The Wine Group is the third largest wine producer in the world, based out of California and owns such brands as Cupcake, 7 Deadly Zins, Stave & Steel and Slow Press. This person will be responsible for executing business processes, activities and providing project support, reporting into the Brand Manager for TWG. We are looking for individuals with creativity and a strong attention to detail who can build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a 12-month contract open to individuals who have graduated from university within a year.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management Support Brand Manager in brand plan development and media plan execution
Support innovation launch plans through Trade deck coordination and sample delivery
Working in collaboration with the commercial team to identify the appropriate activation to maximize brand in hand experiences to targeted consumer within brand guidelines
Coordinating with Regional Trade Marketing Managers on local needs
Updating assets and assisting with tools
Value Add creation
Assist with Channel execution
Compile monthly reports to develop brand, market and competitor insights and identify key future trends
Agency & Supplier Relationships Work closely with agencies and regional teams to plan and execute marketing programs across the country
Manage projects with suppliers such as POS, and sourcing for Retail and On Premise programs
Assist in Budget control and Trade Promotion Management Issue purchase orders and maintain filing system for purchase orders, invoices and other documents
Provide support to Trade Marketing team members in the implementation and maintenance of TPM system tool
Miscellaneous Support Brand Manager in delivering business update and brand presentations to TWG, Senior Management, and Commercial teams
Conduct ongoing Pricing Analysis

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business with a marketing focus preferred
Must have graduated from university within 12 months
Highly computer literate with an excellent understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Hospitality industry and events experience is a strong asset
