In this role as Sr Director, Enterprise Data Management, lead a new department within PRUSA; the NADESS (North America Data Excellence Shared Services) team. NADESS is at the forefront of enhancing, building and embedding new data management capabilities into the organization. This newly created team spearheads data analytics, business intelligence, insights generation, IT strategy and technology. Our objective is to transform components of our system to enable data & insights driven operationalization across the company. The Sr Director will lead us in this data transformation journey and help build a data driven culture in order to enable PRUSA to make strategic business decisions based on data insights and analytics. This includes all areas of enterprise data management (i.e. data stewardship, data analytics, data processes, domain management, data engineering, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide data expertise and lead the organization in data governance encompassing people, processes, and technologies required to manage all data assets. Provide strategic vision when it comes to data management and advance maturity of the Organization Deliver change management approaches that will enable speed to adoption of new ways of working, processes, systems and tools Harness data, analytics and insights to develop effective ways of working and processes that will maximize the efficiency of the organizationDevelop a structured framework, best practices, and processes that allow us to deliver new data quickly and effectively convert data-driven opportunities into revenue generation.Deploy new technology to support the transformation.Expand the acquisition of diverse external data sources.Interface for NA region across functions and technical teams and partner closely with Global Data ManagementInfluence stakeholders to see data as an asset rather than a byproduct.Drive improvement of data integration, processes and quality of critical data setsRemove system-wide obstacles to enable effective data managementCoach and advocate for quality data management and quality processes in a fast-moving consumer environment.Create value for the business through high quality and organized data sets / platforms.Advance the maturity of the organization when it comes to data.Align data strategy with the needs of the business. Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team of 10+ to maximize employee engagement and performance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. MBA/Master's degree preferred.10+ years of business data experience (including leveraging and extracting data to support the business), preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods companyMust have experience in a leadership role overseeing data management quality and entry processes3+ years of experience in a leadership position with a focus on building and executing the data strategy of a company and leading data governance across a large matrixed, global organization.Experience in compliance of PII (Personable Identifiable Information) data desiredMust be able to balance quality and speed.
Executive level communicationExceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop solutions High-performing, self-starter eager to disrupt traditional practices Excellent project management and organizational skills a mustExpert presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint presentations
