Position Title: Senior Manager, Human Resources - Commercial Sales

Location: New York, NY (Headquarters)

As part of the HR Commercial Sales team for PRUSA and under the direction of the Senior Director, HR - Commercial Sales & Marketing the Sr. HR Manager (SHRM) is responsible for supporting areas such as: talent identification, development, management, and selection; performance management; organizational design; implementing HR policies/programs, and key projects. The nature of the SHRM role is both strategic and tactical - on one hand focused on commercial strategic initiatives and on the other willing to roll up the sleeves and dive into the day-to-day operations of the business units.

Partnering with all levels of leadership within the business unit, aligns HR strategy with business goals, direction, and vision. Working under general direction, supports assigned client group and implements HR Strategy, in partnership with HR leadership, to support business unit goals and objectives. Supports the change management process across the HR organization as well as directly with respective client groups.

Commercial & Leadership Capabilities:

  • Partner with organizational leaders as trusted advisor
  • Keep up to date on organizational health, use data and relationships to build meaningful insights, and identify cross-functional needs and trends
  • Responsible for the strategic direction and helping to create and grow our partnerships across the business

  • Talent Acquisition, Identification, Development & Management:

  • The SHRM will play a critical role to support the talent acquisition strategies in close partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, to ensure the hiring of commercially minded and dynamic talent for the business
  • The SHRM will work collaboratively with the Total Talent team to focus on the development and management of high potential talents within their client groups

  • HR Excellence:

  • Champion employee engagement and workforce effectiveness planning and initiative implementation in partnership with the business and HR specialty areas, such as talent acquisition and diversity and inclusion, etc.
  • Partner with business leadership to provide consultative guidance, develop and implement plans informed by organizational capabilities, structure, processes, and competencies in alignment with business strategy
  • Liaison and be a partner to specialty HR functions and centers of expertise for optimal client support in key areas of Learning, Employee Relations, etc.

  • Key Projects:

  • Collaborate with the wider HR Commercial team on special projects, including but not limited to organizational design and effectiveness (workforce planning).
  • Partner with the Total Talent team to create and advance development and succession planning for critical roles.

  • Budgeting & Compliance:

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition as it relates to input on the recruitment budget
  • Manage structured cost budgets for Commercial Sales population
  • Manage immigration issues (visa and green card sponsorship, visa requests, etc.) for respective client groups in conjunction with the Global Mobility Manager

  • Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. required. Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of strong HR operations experience or HR specialist area in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to deal directly with client leads to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and comfortably with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to solve complex problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through and delivery
  • Work well under pressure, prioritize, multitask, and operate autonomously, and as a team in a deadline driven environment
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including knowledge of EEO, ADA and FMLA
  • Ability to understand problems in the context of the bigger picture as well as the overall industry and marketplace
  • Strong drive for results to lead and facilitate efforts to ensure human resources alignment with the business
  • High degree of comfort in driving communication, written and verbal, in face-to-face and group situations.
