Position Title: Senior Manager, Business Intelligence

Location: New York, NY (Headquarters)

Position Summary: The role of Senior Manager will be responsible for driving clarity from diverse data signals and creating a clear, actionable story for key decision makers. Our Business Intelligence team is responsible for being the 'one center of truth' for the company, as well as enabling data democracy across the organization. Tangibly, this means maintaining all major syndicated data contracts, reporting out performance, building analytical tools and conducting ad hoc major investigations. The candidate will work on synthesizing key learnings and reporting results into a holistic business story.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Maintain ongoing executive reporting with a focus on actionable recommendations
  • Creation of new tools and trackers to be implemented throughout the organization
  • Conduct ad hoc market investigations, utilizing all data available (depletions, Nielsen, Sales Nav, household panel, etc.)

  • Nature & Scope:

    The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence is meant to be a key thought partner for the team Director. The role will help the Director in laying out a service model and identifying core areas for investigation. The Senior Manager will work with a high degree of independence, laying out key analytical plans, storylines and key issues for the organization to address. While final team organizational structure will be determined at a later date, there is a potential for a direct report. Senior Manager must be strong in terms of creating a coherent, actionable fact-based storyline.


    Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent); MBA or advanced degree preferable

    Experience / Background: 15+ years of business experience, with significant experience / expertise in major CPG syndicated data sources (IRI, Nielsen). Must have working knowledge of customer specific data bases (e.g. RetailLink, Kroger). Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capability. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g Tableau, Power BI).

  • Analyzes potential ROI of innovation projects and analyzes performance once launched, recommending corrective actions if needed
