    Position Summary

    Pernod Ricard USA is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Finance Analyst. This person will report into the Senior Finance Manager and play a key role in the oversight of financial activities across the portfolio of brands.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end financial close process ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of local distillery Trial Balance submissions through to consolidated Pernod Ricard Group reporting.
  • Complete Quarterly key cash driver consolidation, analysis and reporting focused on maturing inventories and capital expenditure ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
  • Prepare monthly portfolio business update reporting packages with clear, concise messaging of risks and opportunities for review with senior management.
  • Consolidate and report Finance and Operations KPI's in accordance Pernod Ricard Group Operations requirements.
  • Assist in the management and oversight of all aspects of the consolidated financial statements across management cycles including budget, forecasting, strategic planning.
  • Maintain efficient/robust modelling of long-term Barrel requirements with latest maturing stock inventories and commercial plans, highlighting key surpluses and deficits requiring review and action.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Finance Manager to perform various ad hoc analysis across portfolio, including strategic and tactical matters as it relates to budget management, cost of goods analysis, cash flow forecasting, export market opportunities, etc.

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required - CPA or CMA strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
  • Strong comprehension of accounting/financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting ..)
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills; required proficiency in Excel (data analysis, forecasting and modeling)
  • Effective analytical and communication skills
