Position Summary:

The position of Senior Finance Analyst , A&P is a central role responsible for driving efficiencies in tracking, reporting and effectiveness of our spends at PR USA. It is a critical role focusing on the main "spend" areas of the organization and an ideal position to join PR USA, understand its structure and grow as a professional.

The individual will work in cross-functional teams and partner with multiple stakeholders (Marketing, Portfolio Finance , Commercial Finance, Human Resources, etc ) to develop and design reports and analysis aligned to PR USA's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include working with teams across the finance, field, marketing and human resources communities to help drive business performance through fact-based analyses and insights.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Overall business performance monitoring, identifying and bringing solutions for key risks and opportunities for A&P (advertising & promotions)

  • Ensure accurate, on time and reliable reporting deliverables related to A&P and structure costs to PR USA stakeholders and PR HQ, for PR USA and IT North America
  • Share A&P tracker on a monthly basis as well as structure costs executive deck while smoothing and improving efficiency of the reporting process
  • Preparation of strategic reviews relating to the A&P and structure costs as well as other ad hoc senior management/stakeholder presentations

  • Build analysis materials to allow risks and opportunities tracking on a regular basis
  • Build documentation related to A&P processes and help as needed on ad hoc project s

  • Strategic Thought Partner

  • Work with finance team to deliver insights
  • Facilitate strategic alignment between marketing, brand finance, reporting and other areas of the business

  • Play integral role in PR USA change management
  • Conduct periodic team training sessions to improve the analytic capabilities and commercial acumen of the sales teams
  • Ad Hoc analysis and reporting

  • Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • Experience / Background:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a financial planning & analysis or commercially focused business analytics role with demonstrable career progression.
  • High level of comfort with planning, budgeting and forecasting, navigating and managing a financial P&L, and delivering insight-driven commercial analysis ;

  • Skills:

  • Highly analytical, with ability to use the power of facts to bring insight and make clear finance recommendations and commercial decisions;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Other database or analytical tools experience a plus;
  • Ability to confidently interact with non-finance departments, understanding their key requirements and tailoring financial data to satisfy these requirements;
  • Strong influencing skills, proactive in challenging and influencing the business based on insight, knowledge and fact;

  • Ability to manage numerous work streams simultaneously to tight timelines;
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels;
  • Strong analysis & reporting skills;
  • Thorough approach with high level of accuracy;
  • Team player and capability to translate effectiveness across the wider team .
