Position Summary

Strong consumer centric leader and people manager with a passion for Customer Operations and Logistics organizations. Drives excellence in strategic transformation of the PRUSA Supply Chain. Foster continuous improvement in all aspects of the customer supply chain and service activities. Act as PRUSA Operations key contact for global team projects.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

This position will be a key leader who inspires, leads and develops the Customer Operations and Logistics organizations and drives strategic transformation of the PRUSA Supply Chain. Responsible for logistics budget of ~ $50M and controlling costs associated with transportation and supply chain. Develops and directs 3 Directors and various levels of Managers and supporting staff across multiple locations. Responsible for directing and developing high level aspects of the customer supply chain and service activities, including order entry, warehousing, inventory management, invoicing, logistics, EDI and distribution activities within Pernod Ricard USA. Directs activities of domestic, duty free, airlines, military and export customer service and fulfillment functions, ensuring that both manufactured and imported goods inventory decisions are effectively coordinated and that customers receive goods in a timely and cost-effective fashion. Proactively develops relationships with customers to implement and maintain the single point of contact theory. Position is also responsible for guaranteeing corporate compliance to government and U.S. Customs laws and regulations.

Position typically works with executives, Directors, managers, and employees at all levels of the company, as well as substantial contacts with key customers and 3 party logistics suppliers. Requires mastery of all aspects of customer service, logistics, traffic, customs and distribution/supply chain. Communication will include contacts within and outside the company, including critical relationships with key customers. Position has accountability for significant resource expenditures including preparation of annual transportation/logistics budgets. Directs customer service and supply policies and activities, with responsibility for people management and development. Decisions will impact the entire organization, and errors will cause very significant delays, inefficiencies, and expense to the organization. Position also requires experience and exposure to multiple cultures and global team projects.

Key Competencies and Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or Transportation. MBA is preferred.


  • 12+ years of previous customer service, logistics, transportation, and/or distribution experience with critical focus on industry environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills that promote team development and performance.
  • Excellent critical thinking, strategic leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem solving and reasoning skills with demonstrable experience providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to organize and direct work to achieve results and track performance in order for problems are detected early or prevented entirely.
  • Acute attention to detail and highly organized.
  • An eagerness to identify opportunities, find solutions, execute plans, and evaluate results critically.
  • A passion for solving problems from end-to-end.
  • Significant "hands-on" experience in change management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
