    Position Summary

    Reporting to the VP, Commercial Marketing, the incumbent will work closely and collaboratively with VP, Commercial Marketing and VP, Channel/Shopper Marketing driving efficiency and effectiveness of our annual commercial planning process. The Marketing Director will work across our full portfolio with specific growth channels to ensure timely execution of our PRUSA "media to shelf" principles. The candidate will drive an internal and external commercial marketing planning and communication process to facilitate and support best in class retail execution. The role will also partner with key cross functional partners including sales, supply chain and finance to ensure we can achieve our ambition of beating the market.

    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    Commercial Planning

  • Managing the commercial process related to our media to shelf strategy aligning cross functional teams to meet specific deliverables.
  • Channel and business advocate liaising with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, CPO partners to ensure goal alignment that drives customer objectives and strategies.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership to identify opportunities and gaps along with vision on how to address them.
  • Provide strategic direction/collaboration for development of Channel, Customer, Distributor and Field Sales strategies in line with the PRUSA Mission.
  • Portfolio Prioritization Calendar - Working in conjunction with commercial operations, orchestrate PRUSA portfolio prioritization by bringing "media to shelf" through the effective synchronization of media through the line to distributor bonus program KPI management and communication.
  • Plan and manage all aspect of commercial marketing updates internally and externally to our key stakeholders; including National meetings, PR company meetings, Brand Co meetings, quarterly town halls and top to top meetings.

  • Internal & External Marketing Communications

  • Playbook/Program Communication Cadence - Hold playbook/program communication ecosystem (brand, channel/shopper, and marketing enablement teams) accountable for timely delivery of a predictable suite of information according to a 120 day cadence.
  • Responsible for creating field ready commercial sell sheets and sell decks encompassing the PRUSA Selling story and "5 Key Reasons To Believe" strategy.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership to identify opportunities and gaps along with vision on how to address them.
  • Retail Brand Standards - Develop and maintain "living, breathing" retail brand standards "document", encompassing distribution priorities, shelf-placement guidelines, display guidelines, pricing strategy, etc...Also develop digital delivery and maintenance mechanisms to ensure ease of updating and user-friendly interface.
  • Manage and provide governance of "Freedom in a Framework" - Working across our channel/shopper marketing teams, develop both channel and program playbooks to ensure key stakeholders (chain sales, field sales, and distributor teams) are provided with the programming assets and details required to enable world-class retail execution.
  • Responsible and accountable to achieve agreed upon KPI's. Challenges the sales organization to ensure execution goals are met through evolution of changing business dynamics.
  • Work with internal/external communications team to develop and deliver timely field communication enabling national execution and precision.

  • Background/Qualifications:

    Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years in marketing and/or commercial experience
  • Experience in working across all channels of trade (Mass, Club, E-comm, Convenience)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to effectively interface and influence at all levels. Collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong strategic, analytical skills and ability to create and drive process
  • Ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas
  • Strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals, analytical expertise and familiarity with syndicated data sources
