Position Title: Senior Area Chains Manager, Midwest

Location: Remote within the Ohio market

    Position Summary

    The primary purpose of this position is to plan, sell and execute PRUSA's off-premise strategy across all channels and customers in the designated territory. This candidate will be responsible for owning and driving the Chain Customers strategies while leading internal PRUSA field teams and distributor partners to sell and execute against that plan. This position requires working across various functions at PRUSA and the distributor network in order to Beat the Market and grow share.

    Responsibilities

  • Develops, leads & manages regional customer relationships working within the context of the chain selling strategies & tactics.
  • Works within budget parameters of brand, state & chain resources to deliver on key distribution, programming, brand KPI's & overall management of the business.
  • Lead state and distributor communication with programming, performance, post-program analysis, etc.
  • Develop and execute programming with national and regional customer base.
  • Drive execution and tracking for national chains in the local market.
  • Provide post event analysis pertaining to programming effectiveness.
  • Leads with insights and customer first approach to category selling opportunity with PRUSA brands.
  • Collaborate with state teams to establish volume, value and execution targets.
  • Lead the Trimester Planning Meeting process - content and performance tracking.
  • Work with the State Teams to identify business opportunities and gap closing initiatives.
  • Work with State Teams on pricing & promotional budgets to support programming and Revenue Growth Management initiatives.
  • Manage, implement and track innovation and VAP (Value Added Package) execution through KPI benchmarking & tracking.
  • Scorecard performance for state and distributor stakeholders. Provide recommendations / insights on key trends and opportunities within the market and customers.
  • Align pricing, shelf resets, promotions, advertising, distribution and programs
  • Lead multicultural, digital and eCommerce programs for regional customer base.
  • Own account advertising & promotion budget.
  • Evaluate pre and post program analysis.

  • Key requirements

    Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

    Experience / Background:

  • A minimum of 7-10+ years of proven success in sales serving a large number of diverse retailers
  • Experience with distributors and direct key account or channel responsibility is required.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.

  • Demonstrated success in distributor management, customer management and field operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to command an audience while delivering presentations.
  • Business and Analytical Acumen
  • Experience building customer business plans.
  • Success in managing P&L's.
  • Deep understanding of category management.
  • Ability to apply revenue growth management initiatives to customer business plan(s).
  • Proficiency in applying analytics to provide business building solutions for the customer.

  • Working Conditions

    Physical Environment: Work is performed in a typical field environment with moderate demands for movement and lifting. Normal visual, hearing and language acuity required for correspondence and computer usage. Frequent travel by land and/or air in diverse weather conditions is required.
