Position Title: Senior Analyst, Commercial Analytics (Data Automation & BI Platforms)

Location: New York, NY (Headquarters)

This position will help drive the business intelligence platform and reporting capabilities at PRUSA. This includes managing account segmentation and data governance, managing data/reporting enhancement projects, and managing Power BI reporting and training.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Manage attribute segmentation administration through Master Data Maestro; driving business logic and ways of working enhancements to simplify maintenance and validation.
  • Collaborate with distributor and internal stakeholders to implement account coverage categories across various internal and external
  • Manage data governance and validation, including depletions, inventory, shipments, and distributor data streams (eg - forecasting, market share, adjusted gross profit margin).
  • Serve on cross-functional workstreams as strategic advisor and subject matter expert for our data management systems and syndicated data resources and their uses, as well as a champion competitive intelligence in the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT to drive data modeling initiatives by identifying current and future use cases / needs for Commercial and Marketing teams.

  • Nature & Scope: This position reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics - Data Automation & Business Intelligence Platforms. This position will interact directly with various stakeholders throughout the organization including field sales, distributor partners, marketing, and operations. The nature of the role requires strong experience in working as a liaison between Commercial Sales and IT, and shaping the initiatives to support the KPIs for success in embedding usage of our BI platform.


    Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics

    Experience / Background:

  • Minimum 3+ years in a consulting, financial planning & analysis or sales analytics or business analytics role with demonstrable career progression.
  • Strong analytical skills. High level of comfort with working across varied datasets (financial and commercial) and delivering insight-driven commercial analysis.
  • Alcohol beverage or CPG industry experience preferable but not essential.
  • Self- motivated, detail and task oriented, and must have excellent time and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain and train complicated concepts to all levels and verticals of the business are required.
  • Experience building and delivering professional, succinct presentations to describe projects or analytical proposals, results, and recommended actions is required.
  • Must have experience in coaching / training non-technical teams in how to analyze and synthesize data, and deliver insights and storytelling.
  • Advanced skillset with MS Excel, Power BI or other business intelligence platforms.

  • Working Conditions: Position is office-based with some travel (15-20%).
