    Position Summary

    The RTD/Canning Planner & Scheduler is responsible for interpreting material plans and feedback, preparing and maintaining the production schedule for the North America Ready-to-Drink (RTD) and Canning business. In collaboration with others, develops production schedules for RTD & Canning component items based on equipment, labor and raw material availability. Manages copacker relationship to ensure supply availability to meet forecasted demand. Collaborates with Supply Chain to make certain copacker and in house production combined meet forecasted demands for North America.


  • Demand Management - Interface with Brand Owners to determine demand by SKU. Analyze monthly forecast downloads and question any anomalies.
  • Meet with Brand Owners to discuss forecast issues as uploaded into JDE
  • Maintain short-term Firm Plan Orders (FPO) for 30-60-90 days and that they are in JDE. Develop a production plan that will meet customer requirements and effectively utilize plant resources including manpower. Liaise with Supply Management to ensure availability of bulk and wet supplies.
  • Chair weekly production planning meeting.
  • Develop long-term production plan for periods of fiscal year and update plan monthly for management visibility. Collaborates with Supply Chain and brand teams to ensure long-range strategy is being achieved keeping customer service and purchasing in mind.
  • Adhere to ISO standards.
  • Financial responsibility for Finished Goods Inventory RTDs.
  • Support the Pernod Ricard Safety Culture initiative and report any safety risk or concerns to department management. Must follow written PPE requirements and abide by all safety guidelines outlined in procedures and work instructions. Employees are required to report all accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately. These would include all non-disabling and disabling injuries and occupational illnesses, fatalities, fires, and explosions, property damage, chemical spills, and any incident having the potential for property damage or personal injury. Achieve the corporate objective on lost time accident.

  • Bachelor degree is required
  • Post Graduate degree is preferred

  • Experience/Background:

  • Exhibits an understanding of demand planning processes
  • Understanding of material flow
  • Familiarity with forecasting processes and production plans

  • Technical Functional Skills:

  • Must have a proficient level of leadership
  • High skill level in JDE or SAP
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Strong problem solving/ analytical skills
  • Strong time management / prioritization skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Travel

  • Frequent travel is required: estimate 5% of the time.
