Position Summary

The Project Manager, Operations, reporting to the SVP Operations North America, is responsible for managing enterprise-level Operations (Supply Chain, Sales & Operations Planning, Manufacturing and Conversion) projects that drive business effectiveness. This role works closely with the Operations team and internal stakeholders to deliver on projects that have a broad impact to the ongoing success of the organization. The Project Manager, Operations is a collaborative and engaging leader who embraces challenge and creative problem-solving while applying a disciplined and adaptive approach to driving the business forward while delivering exceptional project outcomes.

Note : This position is eligible to work remotely anywhere within North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to embed within the project and drive the project agenda, ensuring buy-in from Key Stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information, energize, lead and motivate a project team and execute enterprise-level projects.
  • Lead through influencing, navigate multiple stakeholders to gain alignment on key decisions and move projects forward.
  • Create and deliver impactful and transversal presentations with the North American and the Global teams.
  • Demonstrate project management skills; work-back schedules, timelines, project plans.
  • Develop and implement transversal project management procedures and methodologies.
  • - Define scope and goals taking into consideration the expectations of the stakeholders.
  • Formalize scope, goals, project teams, work allocation, budget and schedule.
  • Key contributor in leading Wiring/Ways of Working exercises (mapping of processes, roles and responsibilities, decision rights).
  • Coordinate with the PMO & Change team on program management and change related matters.
  • Create strong change management implementation plans while assessing resource needs.
  • Manage resource assignment, software and hardware requirements for projects.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work. Identify project risks and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Offer innovative approaches to overcome project roadblocks and drive progress towards project objectives.
  • Provide regular synthetic updates on project status to key stakeholder
  • Provide and explain alternative solutions in order to anticipate any obstacle
  • Ensure project execution within defined budget and timelines.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet customer expectations.

  • Required Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in a large, sophisticated, tier one manufacturing operation that is complex, multi-local, technologically advanced and labour-intensive.
  • Expert project management skillset - Able to build and deliver professional, succinct presentations to tell the story; describe project or analysis proposals, results, and recommended actions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects successfully according to objectives, quality standards and costs.
  • Excellent organizational skills - structured approach and capable of managing competing numerous work streams simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong experience in process mapping, process reengineering or process improvement.
  • Excellent ability to determine key tasks and resources.
  • Dedicated experience in leading change management processes.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members on project execution.
  • Influence and engage key stakeholders throughout the life of a project/initiative.
  • Excellent synthesis capacity.
  • Ability to develop business knowledge to leverage best technologies and practices.
  • - Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels. Adaptive to different audiences.
  • Proven team management skills.
  • Ability to take charge, own the process, and drive the project vision and scope.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office with strong skills in PowerPoint.

  • Education

  • Required: Undergraduate Degree
  • Preferred: Undergraduate Degree & Project Management Certification

  • Experience

  • Required: 5 years in Project Management and/or Project Management Consulting
  • Preferred: 5+ year Project Management and Consulting experience in Spirits Business
