Position is responsible for working with the Controller and Cost Accounting Manager on Operations Cost analysis and Distribution & Production improvements. Prepare Monthly Operations Financial Reports; lead meetings with Directors and Plant Manager on spend analysis. Develops with Directors LE and Budget. Maintain FIS system for QLRs, Debit memos and PDAs. Responsible for analyzing all Supplier complaints and preparing all debit memos and PDAs for all quality issues, obsolete inventory and various other inventory issues. Responsible for working with Operations on identifying areas of improvement and streamlining processes. Collaborative effort with Cost accountant and Cost manager to maintain accurate standard costs and prepare analysis determining R&O.
Develop Bi-monthly and Monthly Operations Financial reports for Operations. Teams with Directors of Operations developing Budget and LE. Prepare Plant Spend reporting and analysis including recommendations for improvement. Prepare monthly Plant Financial report for Corporate Finance team. Analyze and interpret FIS system for supplier complaints, quarantine inventory, quantifying financial impact. Collect all necessary information to formulate supplier debit memos. Evaluate and maintain related reports for Plant Management and VP Procurement. Coordinate with Operations to prepare PDA forms necessary for write off of Finished Goods and Raw Materials. Conduct monthly QLR meetings with Operations to manage timely and accurate reporting of inventory on quality holds. Identifying and reporting risks. Corroborate with Cost Accounting Manager and Cost Accountant in development of accurate standard costs in E1 and prepare analytical reviews for FP&A. Special projects as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience/Background: At least five years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing and cost.
Technical Functional Skills:Excel, Power Point, Word.
