Position Title: Manager, Marketing Enablement Operations

Location: New York, NY (Headquarters)

Position Summary

The Marketing Enablement function is a Center of Excellence responsible for driving effectiveness and superior capabilities across critical marketing activities such as Media, Content Production & Orchestration, and Operational Excellence. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Enablement Operations, the Senior Manager of Operations will work with the Director to build the Business Operations pillar within the Operational Excellence team, focusing on best practices, infrastructure and processes to drive quality, consistency and efficiency to Marketing to achieve flawless execution from media to shelf.

Business Operations Team

  • The candidate will support a centralized Business Operations team, responsible for driving operational excellence and providing services to enable the seamless and efficient functioning of the broader Marketing team. This includes overseeing Agency utilization and management, managing and embedding a new process to lead A&P effectiveness to better track, analyze and learn from Marketing spends and programming, as well as supporting the rollout, refinement and improvement of the annual planning process and all Marketing services.

  • Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

    Business Operations and Planning

    Support the standardization and optimization of the new Media to shelf planning process and ensure strategic alignment between brand planning and programming.

  • Support the continued rollout of the "Media to shelf" integrated annual planning process, working closely with the Senior Manager, Operations and Brand Teams.
  • Test, launch and embed the implementation of a new A&P infrastructure that connects plans developed to the financial back end.
  • Bring Marketing expertise to provide support of testing, throughout A&P operations from planning to settlements.
  • Perform system testing, prepare for rollout and champion adoption of newly created system to track A&P programming, invoice management, settlement of actuals and future reporting.
  • Support training of end users.
  • Act as a process and system adoption agent.
  • Connect and embed process across new Commercial Marketing Team and Field sales.

  • Agency Management

    Coordinate, manage and streamline all company-wide agency relationships.

  • Support ongoing evaluation of agency resources and financials to report to senior leadership and Global headquarters.
  • Guide the RFP process for new agency categories/services when needed.
  • Organize and centralize all materials to build capabilities as agency center of excellence working with brand partners - i.e. ongoing communication needs, SOWs and MSAs, driving training to implement consistent and effective usage of partners.
  • Audit ongoing partner and vendor needs across broader organization outside of HQ Marketing to coordinate approach to partner consolidation, meeting the needs of local sales teams
  • Support the creation of a new annual review process and establishing KPIs and success metrics/incentives.

  • Marketing Special Projects

    Support continual refinement and improvement across all Marketing activities, systems and processes.

  • Continuous Improvement - collect information and feedback for continuous refinement and improvement across marketing activities, processes and systems; from inventory reporting, management metrics, field/customer feedback.
  • Ensure collaboration and close integration with Media and Content pillars of the Enablement team.

  • Job Requirements

    The role requires a motivated self-starter with strong project management, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm. Strong ability to embed new processes, manage obstacles and serve as a change agent. Comfortable with interpreting and presenting data. Strong relationship and networking skills.

    Education

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

  • Experience / Background

  • 6+ years of marketing experience, with cross-functional marketing or financial management experience at an agency, brand side, or ideally both. The ideal candidate will have experience running programs from strategy to execution, is exceptionally well-organized, detail-oriented and process-driven, and the ability to generate buy-in of new ideas and ways of working. Comfortable with interpreting and manipulating data, ability to work in an agile environment and embed new processes, ability to advocate for organizational change.

  • Must understand agency and/or vendor contracts (either as client or agency partner) and client services. This candidate should also be agile and able to adjust to new information and new direction. This candidate should be goal oriented, solutions oriented, able to execute an action plan while being agile and leveraging his interpersonal skills to support change management.
