This position is a business intelligence platform and reporting capabilities contributor at PRUSA. Responsibilities include: 1) design and develop BI solutions and reports for strategic projects 2) translate data into simple business visualizations and formats for commercial analysis, 3) collaborate with IT to deliver CRM data integration in key data models and reporting, and 4) develop innovative solutions to complex problems and document processes for replication.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities Take an active leadership role for national transversal projects that support key commercial and marketing initiatives.Facilitate action and execution on potential business opportunities through collaboration with sales and marketing teams and the use of data driven insights.Act as the point of contact for the commercial team's reporting functionality and visualizations.Collaborate with IT to drive data modeling initiatives, including integrating new data sources, by identifying current and future use cases, sourcing vendors and designing data ingestion processes.Act as the subject matter expert on syndicated and internal data resources and their uses as well as a champion of business intelligence in the organization.Collaborate with the IT team to translate analytical projects and business needs into IT workstreams related to modeling or data visualization.Provide thought-leadership on innovative solutions and proactively develop reports and tools for the organizationDesign, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and analysis that enhance the user experience and enable teams to self-service data needsDevelop BI reporting and applications using data query syntax (DAX, Power Query) from numerous disparate data sources
Nature & Scope
This position reports to the Director, GTM Transformation. This position will interact directly with Pernod Ricard Global teams and Pernod Ricard USA Transformation, Sales, Finance and Marketing communities. It is critical for the individual in this role to embrace cross-functional ways of working and to strive to embed insights in the Pernod Ricard organization DNA.
This position is ideal for a highly analytical person with experience using business intelligence tools (preferably Power BI). The nature of the role requires exceptional data structuring and analysis skills as well as the ability to build reporting that enhances the user experiences, highlights key insights and trends even when only partial data sets may be available. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complicated concepts to all levels and verticals of the business are required.
Experience building and delivering professional, succinct presentations to describe projects or analytical proposals, results, and recommended actions is a plus. The strongest candidates will not merely leverage business intelligence tools but have a demonstrated ability to communicate insights by using the data to tell the story. turn raw information into a storytelling exercise.
A candidate with strong time management skills, who is highly organized, user-centric, proactive & self-starter, works well in an agile environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Computer Science.
Experience / Background: Minimum 3-5 years in a consulting, financial planning & analysis or business analytics role. A high level of comfort with working across varied datasets (financial and commercial) and delivering insight-driven commercial analysis. Industry experience preferable but not essential.
