We are seeking a dynamic professional to take on the role as a Regional business Acceleration Manager in our Global Business Acceleration Team.

Based in Toronto, Canada, you will be responsible for the development of our wine business in the Canadian market. Reporting to the VP Global Marketing, Americas, this role provides an excellent opportunity to make your mark in the Canadian Market.

What will your day-to-day will look like?

  • In collaboration with Corby, recommend & implement the Wine Portfolio Life Cycle
  • Facilitate the commercial planning cycle with Corby to ensure alignment to the Pernod Ricard Winemakers strategic direction & rolling 3Y market action plans.
  • Lead the innovation process between Pernod Ricard Winemakers & Corby under the strategic direction of the brand teams.
  • Understand RTM across the different provinces, propose and build solutions within Corby as required.
  • Gather, share and scale best practice across the markets to maximise asset & spend effectiveness.
  • Coordinate formal business reviews including performance across all levers.
  • Collaborate on launch plans with Corby and the PRW marketing team to ensure a strong return on central marketing investment.
  • Provision of support and coordination for key 'profile' events in market including wine shows, winemaker events, sponsorship events and generic industry body events.
  • Optimise the use of ambassadors across the markets and be an ambassador to influence, educate and win hearts and minds.


  • About You

    You are a tertiary qualified business or marketing professional (or related) that has a proven track record of delivering business results and building brand equity (preferably having worked within Wine, Liquor or an FMCG environment). You can build positive and constructive working relationships both in and out of an organisation, in an environment that strives to provide a consumer centric experience for leading wine brands. Having strong business and financial acumen, sense of values, contemporary marketing knowledge and appreciation for wine, will see you thrive within Pernod Ricard Winemakers & Corby.

    Essential:

  • At least 5 years in a marketing and/or commercial role
  • Portfolio Management experience
  • Innovation experience (ideation to implementation) ideally including insights
  • Strong Planning & Project management skills
  • Strong influencing ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge & a passion for wine


  • Desirable:

  • Experience in the Canadian market & channels within scope & relevant language skills
  • Experience in alcohol/ FMCG
  • WSET accreditation
  • Tertiary or Post Graduate qualifications in business or marketing
