    Position Summary:

    The responsibility of the S&OP Analyst is to deliver timely and accurate analysis and reporting, combined with driving efficient operational process improvement within the Operations Team, supporting the effective decision-making process for the overall Pernod Ricard USA business.

    Reporting to the Sales & Operations Planning Sr Manager, the role provides an excellent opportunity to make your mark in the US Spirits industry.

    Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Support Commercial Operations and lead distributors and lead net requirements (shipments) governance on assigned markets. Build the supply chain relationship with customers, and ensure every transaction goes smoothly
  • Focusing on assigned markets, you'll ensure an excellent level of customer service
  • Coordinate between customers, finance, commercial and operations teams
  • Use available systems/data to maintain forecasts and analyze sales and stock cover
  • Most importantly, if you spot an opportunity to improve things, you'll take it.
  • Preparation of a variety of monthly S&OP reports suitable for presentation for senior management, combining demand & supply topics
  • Responsible for compiling data from different sources, analyze data and provide insights
  • Develop insightful reporting to measure business performance and provide business recommendations for improvement and/or innovation
  • Drive automation of new and existing reports and models to enable ease of maintenance, expandability and high data integrity
  • Liaise with the different departments in our organization and our outside partners to follow up on any challenges or discrepancies within the data
  • Participate /Lead in ad-hoc Analytical projects as needed

  • Nature & Scope:

    The S&OP Analyst is a supporting function to consolidate and analyze market forecast data as well as coordinating input and communication between key S&OP stakeholders. This function is a vital contributor to the S&OP process, supporting Commercial Operations team and governing distributor supply - demand decisions.

    This position continuously strives to automate and simplify supply chain operations activities by modeling, creating and producing reports and tools from raw data.

    You will independently create and manage reporting metrics and determine how best to provide visibility to sales & operations performance via report creation, insights and analyzing system dashboards. You will work with internal and external partners to improve key performance metrics and provide actionable insights.

    You will plan processes and own the operational execution of performance monitoring routines. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

    Key Competencies and Qualifications:

    Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business analytics, Data science or related field.

    Experience/ Background:

  • 3+ years' Experience in a similar role within service or manufacturing industries
  • Experience creating tools and reports from raw data or reporting where insights and experience led to operational performance (financial analysis experience is also considered)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, ~2 years' experience creating tools, dashboards and reports using MS Excel, Access, SQL, Power BI, Oracle Business Intelligence products (BI, Essbase, etc) and/or Tableau
  • Relevant business knowledge, preferably in supply chain, logistics or warehousing where analysis was used for operational performance improvement
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Required Skills/ Competencies:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Great at communication, collaboration and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial personality; strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Flexible, organized, team player
  • Advanced use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Proficient and expertise using business Intelligence tools (Oracle based preferred)

  • Understanding/knowledge of JDE or other ERP systems desired
