About The Position
SUMMARY: O’Neill Vintners & Distillers, one of the fastest growing alcoholic beverage companies in the USA, is searching for an energetic, result-driven, and experienced Brand Manager to lead one or more wine brands in the portfolio.   She/He will be responsible for generating consumer demand leveraging the marketing mix and sales organization.    Candidates must have proven track record of being a successful leader that is able to think differently, to deliver breakthrough and successful brand strategies, innovative consumer programs and tactical execution.  The Brand Manager will have a unique combination of brand development, creative brilliance, strategic marketing skills, competence, and confidence, coupled with the passion and ability to identify key insights and turn them into actionable plans.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Lead development/stewardship of brand positioning, creative development, innovation, and messaging for select brand(s) Responsible for identifying macro and micro consumer trends and insights that will help inform strategic and annual marketing plans 
·         Responsible for consumer demand generation strategies and tactics to accelerate sales targets. 
·         Develop annual marketing plans that drive both consumer pull and conversion at retail
o   Clearly articulate brand objective, strategies, and tactics for the year 
·         Manage marketing budget and resource allocation across the marketing mix 
·         Responsible and accountable for measuring impact and effectiveness of marketing initiatives through quantitative analysis
·         Accountable for brand financials, including the brand P&L and marketing budgets 
·         Successfully manage the creative process with partner agencies & designers to deliver breakthrough ideas and brand concepts 
·         Work closely with CMO in developing five-year growth plan across select brand(s) and optimize on an annual basis  
·         Work Closely with sales team to ensure they have the tools needed to drive the business, in line with brand strategy and brand identity 
·         Work with analytics team to review monthly brand health and business performance 
·         Responsible for QBR and end of year Brand Reviews to Executive Team 
·         Apply strategic thinking throughout ideation, conceptualization for brand innovations
·         Conduct brand health and market analysis, and maintain constant awareness of market/industry trends, working closely with the sales team to identify viable market opportunities 
·         Conduct quarterly business and brand reviews to identify any actions/learning and measure plan progress

·         MBA required

·         5+ year of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods brand marketing, digital experience a plus

·         Alcohol beverage experience/understanding a plus

·         Bold, embraces risk, and want to solve the tough problems that other competitors may fear

·         Obsessed with understanding what is taking place in culture and what is driving macro and micro trends
·         Proven record of driving successful retail brands and marketing initiatives

·         Strong strategic, analytics and insight generation skills
·         Excited to work at an entrepreneurial company where proven success is key to be able to request more support
·         Not afraid of shifting priorities and cutting through red-tape to problem solve
